Formerly on Girls Season 1 Event 1 “Pilot”, In the premiere on this comedy about twentysomething girls navigating their way through life in Nyc, Hannah swings and misses at two curves when the womans parents rescind their monetary support and she will lose her unpaid internship. Meanwhile, Hannahs roommate, Marnie, throws a dinner party for nomadic friend Jessa, whos returned from one more journey.
On this weeks Episode title “Vagina Panic”, Jessa and Marnie have trouble with issues surrounding an appointment as being a womens clinic and Hannah refers to an STD scare.

Girls is a comedy television series on top quality cable network HBO. The series was created by Lena Dunham, who also stars along with Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams, Adam Driver and Zosia Mamet. It follows the lives of a small group of friends inside their 20s trying to data their lives in Ny.
Dunham was given an opportunity to create the series following success of her film Tiny Furniture, which shares an equivalent premise with Girls. Judd Apatow and Jenni Konner work as executive producers alongside Dunham.
Lena Dunhams 2010 debut feature, Tiny Furniture – that she wrote, directed and starred in – received reviews that are positive at festivals together with awards attention, including Best Narrative Element at South by Southwest and Best First Screenplay in the 2010 Independent Spirit Accolades. The independent films success earned her the ability to collaborate with Judd Apatow for an HBO pilot. Apatow said he was drawn to Dunhams imagination and included that Girls would provide men with the insight into “realistic females”. Some of the challenges facing Dunhams character Hannah – including being take off financially from her mother and father, becoming a writer in addition to making bad decisions – are generally inspired by Dunhams real-life suffers from.
Dunham said Girls reflects an element of the population not portrayed from the 1998 HBO series Sex as well as the City. “Gossip Girl was teens duking it from the Upper East Side and Sex along with the City was women who figured out work and friends and after this want to nail family members life. On January 7, 2011, HBO picked up the series for 10 shows with Dunham being endorsed to executive producer. Dunham co-wrote all ten episodes with the first season and focused five.
